Halloween fun for families

Have your say

FAMILIES can enjoy some ghoulish goings-on this Halloween.

Fun activities, including gruesome jelly making and pumpkin carving, will be on offer at Seascape Children’s Centre in Ellison Road, Peterlee, on Saturday, October 29.

The Durham County Council-run Sure Start site is hosting the free event in partnership with Sunshine Day Nursery, between 10am and 1pm.

Families with children of all ages are invited to take part and don fancy dress for the occasion.

Other activities include apple bobbing, arts and crafts, pumpkin parade and a visit by the fire service.

A lunch of beastly broth and bread is available.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
