A BUSINESSWOMAN today described what it is like to be part of one of the most talked-about reality shows on TV.

Anna Parkin, from East Durham, can be seen on MTV’s Geordie Shore threatening them with eviction if they step out of line.

The cast – ex-Ttonic barmaid Charlotte, Jay, Holly, James, Sophie, Vicky, Greg and Gary – can be seen getting drunk, fighting and getting naked on the controversial show.

As a condition of living in the plush house, in Newcastle’s Jesmond, the housemates regularly attend champagne receptions and promotional events.

These are arranged by Anna, who lives off Durham Way, in Peterlee, and runs Two Touch Promotions, which supplies promotional staff, models, VIP hospitality and corporate entertainment.

She was originally approached by MTV to help with the casting.

The 37-year-old said: “The eight housemates were chosen from thousands of applicants.

“As you can see, they are all strong, young individuals with big personalities and each bring something different to the show. It’s certainly caused a stir.

“Like everyone I have spoken to, I am hooked. I can’t wait for the next episode.”

Anna didn’t realise at the time, but MTV were actually casting her for the role as “the boss” on the show.

She added: “I thoroughly enjoyed working with the cast of Geordie Shore.

“They weren’t the easiest bunch to tame, but once I got to know them and they realised I ran a professional company and had a certain image to maintain in front of my clients they were keen to impress.”

l Bosses of The Fluid Group have banned the Geordie Shore cast from its North East clubs and bars, over their booze-fuelled antics.
