Gap in service on Metro due to a withdrawn train
There are delays on the Metro this afternoon due to a train being withdrawn.
There is a gap in service between South Hylton in Sunderland Pelaw after a train was withdrawn due to a fault.
Metro tweeted: "We currently have a gap in service between South Hylton and Pelaw as a train was withdrawn due to a fault.
"Please allow extra time for your journey where possible."
