Fulwell Neighbourhood Watch Senior Citizens’ Christmas party will be held in Mill View Club on Wedneday, December 16, from 1pm. Tickets are available from Smith’s Shoe Services, Sea Road, Fulwell.

Fulwell Art Club is staging an exhibition in Fulwell Library. Some of the works are avaible to buy.

A Christmas fair and coffee morning will take place in All Saints’ Church Meeting room, Fulwell Road, on Saturday from 10am. There will be mince pies, raffle, bric-a-brac, costume jewellery, cakes, tombola, memorabilia, and vicar’s birthday stall.

Seaburn Ladies’ Probus will meet on Thursday, December 10, in the Roker Hotel at 10am for 10.30am for entertainment by Stuart Cameron, followed by Christmas lunch.

A Christmas fair will be held in Springtide Cove, Dock Street, Roker, on Friday, December 11, from 11am to 4pm.

Sunderland Lifeboat Guild invites you to a Christmas coffee morning at Lifeguard Station, Marine Walk, Roker, on Saturday, December 12, from 10am to noon. Entrance is £2 includes coffee or tea and a mince pie. Lifeboat souvenirs, cakes and biscuits will be on sale.

Reading Hack Volunteer for ages 13-plus is hoping to support and promote reading and digital activities for children and young people in Sunderland Libraries. You could be involved with and gain experience in planning and delivering activities for children and young people.You will be selecting library books for young people and be able to take part in volunteer opportunities within Sunderland Libraries as well as developing communication, organisation and teamwork skills. Go along to Fulwell Library tomorrow from 4pm to 5m to find out more.

Seaburn Men’s Probus Club meets in Roker Methodist Church, at the junction of Lonsdale Road and Roker Park Road, tomorrow at 10am.

Fulwell Society meets tonight for a Christmas celebration at 7.30pm in Fulwell Community Centre, Chapman Street. This will be the final meeting as the society will close through lack of numbers. Entrance is £1, which includes refreshments.

Sunderland Public Libraries runs a home delivery service providing books and audio items to customers who are unable to access a library themselves, either due to age, ill health, disability or long or short term mobility problems. Monkwearmouth Local History Group will meet on Monday, December 7 at 2pm in the Fellowship Room at Roker Methodist Church, Roker Park Road, Roker. Speaker Phil Curtis will talk on Victorian Sunderland. Mince Pies will be served.
