Fulwell Society will meet on Tuesday, September 1, at 7.30pm in Fulwell Community Centre, Chapman Street (off Sea Road) Fulwell. Speaker Sharron Vincent will give a talk entitled on Anatomy and Body Snatchers. Entrance will be £1, which will include refreshments. Everyone is welcome.
Monkwearmouth Local History Group will meet on Monday, September 7, at 2pm in the Fellowship Room at Roker Methodist Church, Roker Park Road, Roker. Speaker Ron Lawson will talk about Carnagie and Flintoff. Visitors are always welcome.
Fibromyalgia support group will meet at Mill View Social Club on Monday, September 7, at 1.30pm. Any sufferers or carers are welcome to attend.
On Monday, August 31, from 10am onwards the annual rally of historical vehicles takes place at Seaburn Recreation Ground and a number of historic buses will give rides. Admission will be £3, £2 for children and concessions.
Balletbefit adult classes are held in Fulwell Community Centre, Chapman Street. Fitness with a difference. Sessions are suitable for all abilities and no previous dance experience is necessary. Classes are held on Sunday from 10.30am- 11.30am and Mondays from 7pm- 8pm. Sessions will start on Sunday, September 6.
