Full of empty spaces
I have just been to South Shields' new library, tourist information, gifts, new leisure centre, lovely town hall.
Sunderland is not a City of Culture, it is a city of empty spaces – Vaux site, leisure centre, Keel Row, open market, fairground.
I think councillors need a trip to Shields.
