We welcome a young photographer to this week’s Friday Photos feature.
Thirteen-year-old Emily Skinner sent us this great selection of snaps, including a number of her pet dog Molly, who is one of her favourite subjects.
When she’s not taking photos, Emily also loves to dance, and her school is set to perform in the West End and in Blackpool next month.
The creative youngster also enjoys making her own clothes from plain T-shirts, which she cuts and paints patterns onto.
We’d love to see work by more young photographers in Friday Photos, but snappers of any age and level of experience are welcome, and any style of photography.
We’re looking for photographs on any theme, whether it’s landscapes or people, events or wildlife.
All you have to do is send some examples of your work – about 12 or 13 – and some details about yourself, such as your age, name, occupation, interests and hobbies, plus a photograph of yourself.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org or send photos on a disc to Sunderland Echo, Friday Photos, Features Department, 2nd Floor, Alexander House, 1 Mandarin Road, Rainton Bridge Business Park, Houghton le Spring, Sunderland, DH4 5RA. Sorry, but discs can’t be returned.
IMPORTANT: We’ll only be able to print photographs that are of a high resolution - at least 1MB.
Please keep this in mind before sending any work.
• Taken a great shot, but don’t have enough images for Friday Photos?
Send it to email@example.com and it could appear on the letters page, where we print readers’ photos every day.
