This week’s Friday Photographer brings a gold standard to today’s feature.
Adrian Potts has captured most of these stunning images within walking distance of his house during the golden hour before sunset.
They include famous local sights including Penshaw Monument, the Seven Sisters at Copt Hill and Durham Cathedral.
Many thanks to Adrian for taking part in Friday Photos.
If you’d like to get involved, we’re looking for photographers of any age and level of experience and any style of photography.
All you have to do is send some examples of your work – about 12 or 13 – and some details about yourself, such as your age, name, occupation, interests and hobbies, plus a photograph of yourself.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org, or send photos on a disc to Sunderland Echo, Friday Photos, Features Department, 2nd Floor, Alexander House, 1 Mandarin Road, Rainton Bridge Business Park, Houghton le Spring, Sunderland, DH4 5RA.
Sorry, but discs can’t be returned.
IMPORTANT: We’ll only be able to print photographs that are of a high resolution.
Please keep this in mind before sending any work.
• Taken a great shot but don’t have enough images for Friday Photos? Send it to email@example.com and it could appear on the letters page, where we print readers’ photos every day.
