FOUR people arrested over a shocking attack on a teenage girl have been bailed.
As reported in the Echo, 17-year-old Karrina Bates said she was stabbed, kicked, punched, throttled, stamped and urinated on and left unconscious after an argument between two other people erupted.
The former Red House School pupil, from Marley Pots, needed hospital treatment after the incident.
Police are believed to have taken the clothes Karrina was wearing and samples of her hair for forensic examination.
The incident happened at a house in Fulwell Road, in the early hours of last Wednesday.
Three men, aged 22, 19 and 17, and an 18-year-old woman were arrested.
They have now been released on police bail until March, pending the outcome of investigations.
