A TRIO of Black Cat stars are heading to a Sunderland bar to relive their memories of the 1992 FA Cup Final.
Twenty years after the event, David Rush, Gordon Armstrong and Gary Owers will talk about the Wembley clash against Liverpool at the issue launch of a Mackem magazine.
Former midfielder David Rush guest edits the latest issue of Seventy3 which is hosting the celebratory talk-in at The Corner Flag in High Street West.
Seventy3 editor-in-chief Mal Robinson said: “We are really looking forward to having three cup finalists together talking about their cup final memories 20 years on and it also has the added bonus of three local lads sharing thoughts on the brilliant cup run they had in 1992.”
The magazine was launched a year ago with each edition guest edited by an ex-SAFC star.
Mal added: “This will be the first of many nights we will hold for the launch of each issue and we’re keen to let the players involved in each issue expand on their stories with public events such as this.”
The event, which features a pie and pea supper, takes place from 8pm on July 13.
Tickets are £10 and are available from tel. 447 6608 or from www.seventy3magazine.co.uk.
