Former Sunderland star Adam Johnson to '˜be a cleaner' at new jail
Shamed former Sunderland AFC star Adam Johnson is set to be a cleaner at his new jail, according to a report.
The Sun claims that fellow inmates at HMP Moorland, in Doncaster, threatened Johnson, 28, if he was given a “cushy gym job”.
He will now get about £8 cleaning, according to the report, and will spend his time floor sweeping and bin-changing in his segregated wing.
Johnson was jailed for six years in March for sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl.
