A former East Durham College joinery student has returned to the college to share his success story with students.
Phillip Breeze, 33, from Haswell, studied carpentry and joinery at the college in 2010.
After leaving he spent a year in the trade gaining experience, but always dreamed of running his own business.
In 2012 he did just that, starting up PJ Property Maintenance, which has gone from strength to strength.
Phillip said: “It was great to have this opportunity to go back into college and talk to this new generation of joinery and carpentry students.
“They seemed a great bunch and I hope I have been able to inspire them for their future careers.
“Hopefully in the near future I will be able to come back to the college and take on an apprentice of my own, working alongside the college to grow my business further.”
