A DEDICATED music man is hoping his song for the Olympics is music to Sunderland AFC’s ears.
Warehouse worker Nigel Graham penned his anthem for the 2012 games.
He dreams of performing it in London.
Now the 42-year-old has dished out his track to 84 football clubs across the UK – including the Black Cats.
Songwriter Nigel has remixed his work into a special stadium track for the teams and says his original version is soaring to the top of online charts.
The musician, from High Usworth in Washington, said: “I am getting great feedback from football clubs.
“The idea behind my Olympic song is to cheer the British public up and remind them that the Olympic games is coming to London in 2012.”
Called Nigel’s Olympic Song 2012, the song was created using specialist music production software, which Nigel taught himself to use.
The tune, which combines his vocals with a stadium rock sound, is on sale online via websites including iTunes.
Nigel has also taken his campaign to social networking site Facebook.
