Fly the flag for culture
John F Kennedy once said: 'Ask not what your country can do for you '“ ask what you can do for your country.'
Sunderland asks can we have the title ‘City of Culture?’
Yet this (shame) same city cannot be bothered to fly the Union Jack anywhere.
Surely the two should go together, like bunting and village fetes/fairs?
