The team used their tools to release her from the plastic in just a short time following the call out, which happened earlier today, Wednesday, July 15.

A spokesperson for the service said: “Earlier this afternoon Peterlee Greens came to the rescue of little Harleigh, after she found herself having some… toilet troubles!

"Somehow, she had managed to get her toilet training seat stuck around her head, but thankfully our crews got to work quickly and managed to release Harleigh in no time.

"Well done to everyone involved.”
