POLICE are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Peter Jackson a 38 year old businessman from Seaham who has been missing for a week.
Peter left his home in Seaham at 8:20am a week ago today, on Monday 11th November to go to work.
Peter failed to arrive at work and the alarm was raised. Since leaving his home last Monday morning, Peter has not been in touch with family or friends and his behaviour has been described as extremely out of character.
When Peter left home he was driving a grey Ford Focus C max car with the registration FY05 CKD. The car has a dent on the rear bumper on the passenger side (a picture of a similar vehicle is attached). Peter is described as having short dark brown hair and is of stocky build. Peter was wearing a dark coloured zip up jacket and dark coloured trousers when he was last seen.
Sergeant Vicky Guthrie from Seaham response policing team said “We know that Peter left his home in his car at his usual time last Monday morning and that was the last time anyone has seen him. I would ask people not only in the Seaham area bur across the wider north east region to be vigilant in looking out for Peter or his car and to contact us immediately if they have any information.
Peter’s family are naturally extremely worried and any information you have may be of help in finding the answer to where Peter is”.
Peter’s wife Alexia said “If anyone knows where Peter is please get in touch with the police urgently. I cannot describe what our family have been going through since Peter went missing last Monday and we just need to know where Peter is. I would also like to appeal directly to Peter to get in touch with us, we are all so worried and just need to know that you are safe.”
Police can be contacted on 101.
