Sessegnon has made 92 appearances for West Brom since moving to the Hawthorns in a £6million deal during the summer of 2013.

But with his contract expiring this summer, Baggies boss Tony Pulis has decided to release the Benin international along with fellow striker Victor Anichebe.

Pulis said: "The two lads worked really hard for me and were as good as gold.

"Everybody at the Club wishes them all the best in their future careers."

Sessegnon, 31, netted 18 goals in 97 appearances during his two-and-a-half years at Sunderland after moving to the Premier League from Paris St Germain.
