That’s the message from Giaccherini’s agent Furio Valcareggi as rumours over the midfielder’s future continue to rumble on.

Giaccherini spent the last season on loan at Bologna, having failed to make an impact at Sunderland after his £6.5million move to the Premier League in 2013.

The playmaker’s form at Bologna saw him named by Conte in his Italy Euro 2016 squad, and responded with the opening goal in their win against Belgium.

The 31-year-old looks set to return to Serie A on a permanent deal this summer, with Bologna, Torino, Fiorentina and Napoli all linked with the player, who has a year left on his Sunderland contract.

However, Valcareggi claims Giaccherini would like to link up again with his former Juventus boss Conte when he takes over at Chelsea at the end of the Euros.

“Giaccherini is a player who played 80% of the games for a Juventus that had Pogba, Pirlo, Vidal and Marchisio in the midfield,” Valcareggi told SportItalia.

“Conte likes him a lot and Chelsea would be a dream.

“It’s still too early to talk about his future. After the Euros, whoever wants to buy him will not have to pay a high price to Sunderland.”
