FAMILIES can find out about a wide range of events at Durham University with the launch of a new brochure.

It is launching the What’s On Events Brochure this month, detailing more than 100 events from April to September across its visitor attractions.

The publication has events tailored specifically for children, and includes events suitable for the whole family to enjoy.

Examples include animal adventures with Jay at the Botanic Garden, the Festival of Archaeology at the Old Fulling Mill Museum of Archaeology, and the Made in China Extravaganza at the Oriental Museum.

“Our new brochure is our best ever,” said business development executive Stina Maynard. “Offering a wide variety of events for families to enjoy over the next six months.

“We want to make sure the region is aware now of the activities taking place to ensure the dates are in the diary and people don’t miss out.

“This summer there really is something for everyone and we want to encourage the region to get out door and active.”
