Revealed: 10 Sunderland schools told they must do better by Ofsted

Four ratings can be given by the education watchdog - outstanding, good, requires improvement or inadequate.

Two schools in the city were given the lowest score (inadequate) at their last inspection - with eight more being graded as requiring improvement.

The inspections took place between May 2016 and January 2018, and the school’s latest inspection date is noted above.
