HARDY pupils from a Wearside school enjoyed the great outdoor.
Students from Sunderland High School’s Year 7 took a trip to Derwent Hill for a weekend of fun and activities.
The young people took part in a large range of experiences such as gorge walking, a high ropes course and even took on the death swing.
Youngsters said they thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor adventure and working together.
David Percy, a teacher at the school who took part in the trip, said: “I was immensely proud of each and every individual.
“Everyone took on each challenge with complete commitment and enthusiasm.”
