MEDIA student Jerome Wardle clinched the Creative Industries Award at East Durham College.
Jerome, from Peterlee, was presented with his certificate and prize by Interim Principal, Eugene McCrossan, at the town campus.
The 25-year-old is studying on a BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Creative Media Production.
His lecturer Mark Johnson said: “As a mature student Jerome has to juggle his job, family life and college work, but he’s shown great dedication to the course.
“Through his methodical and well planned approach he succeeds very well.”
