Students at Belmont Community School in Durham took part in a week of innovative learning.
Young people took part in their igorous Engaging Authentic Learning (Real) projects, which culminated in a public exhibition.
Teacher Laura Jackson said: “Our students and staff had an amazing Real Projects week.
“This was the first time we had done something like this and it was amazing to see such a big variety in content and experiences created by our staff for our students.
“Each project was guided by the students having to find out information to an essential question which drove the project.”
Echo reporter Sue Kirby went along to give the young people some tips about interviewing people.
