DURHAM School is celebrating an outstanding set of Oxford and Cambridge University offers.

Four Sixth Formers at the independent school have been successful in achieving conditional offers to study at Oxford or Cambridge Universities.

Cambridge has offered a place to Peter Lotts to study computer science, while Oxford wants to welcome Isaac Walton to study biomedical sciences, Alastair Reith to study medicine and

Alexandra Powell to study English language and literature.

Alexandra was also awarded a prestigious Choral Scholarship at Oxford.

Ben Brownlee, Elite Course Co-ordinator at Durham School, gave his congratulations: “The Oxbridge offers are fantastic and a real justification for the incredible amount of work the students have demonstrated, not just during their application, but throughout their time at Durham School.”
