Chance to see university life

Have your say

POTENTIAL Sunderland students can discover what university life is all about this weekend when the university throws open its doors.

The University of Sunderland Open Day on Saturday is an opportunity to see what is on offer in terms of courses, facilities and experiences, not just academically, but socially too.

The university will be opening its doors to give prospective students the chance to explore both campuses, tour rooms at four of its undergraduate halls of residence and see where they could be studying in the future.

Academics, support staff and students will be on hand in the Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter’s to answer questions and share their experiences of life on campus.

The university will also give talks in a range of subject areas, giving an insight into what students can expect from their course.

The Open Day starts at 9.30am at the Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter’s, and talks and tours will be running until 4pm.
