Durham Women move top with convincing win over Scotland
Durham top Division Three Group A in the Women's County Championship after a crushing 106-run win over Scotland at Gala.
Rachel Hopkins hit 44 and Ami Campbell 39 in Durham’s 237-5 in 50 overs, backed by Laura Hockaday (26), Layla Tipton (34), Becky Glen (22) and Laura Ellison (26no).
Sarah Bryce top-scored with as Scotland were all out for 131, Hayley Falla grabbed 3-17, backed by Rachael Petherick (2-26) and Helen Fenby (2-24) to give Durham their third win in four matches.
They next host Cumbria at Philadelphia on Sunday.
