Durham Over-60s succumb to second defeat

Durham suffered a second successive defeat in the Seventh National Over-60s Championship, going down by 83 runs to Lancashire.

Chris Dearden’s 59 helped Lancashire to post 191-7 in 45 overs, with David Cragg taking 3-23 and Terry Charlton 2-44.

Durham’s reply had a calamitous start, slipping to 0-3 and 4-5 as four of the top five batsmen were dismissed without scoring by a ruthless attack.
