Durham Over-60s finish in style with convincing defeat of Lincolnshire

Durham Over-60s ended their National Championship North Group campaign in fourth place, out of six, after a third win of the season.

They beat Lincolnshire by six wickets at Castle Eden. The visitors struggled to 147-9 in their 40 overs, with John Mountain making 55.

David Sweeney plundered 3-24 and Dick Longstaff 3-31.

Durham fell to 32-3 in reply, but John Booth (60, with 10 fours) and Peter Armstrong (52no, with eight boundaries) put on a decisive 100-run fourth-wicket partnership to help ease the home side to victory in the 35th over.

Lancashire topped with group with nine wins out of 10.
