Tori joined a team of Schwarzkopf Professional hairdressers backstage assisting Swedish session stylist Karin Bigler for the Emilio de la Morena show.

More than 50 hairdressers, makeup artists, models, directors, photographers, journalists and bloggers worked closely to style 14 models with a multi-textured and catwalk-ready style.

The brief for the hair was multi textured with a wearable, lived-in feel without structure or uniform.

Tori, creative director at Janet Maitland Hair Excellence in Durham - which also has a salon in Hetton - and the team created fluffy ‘cloud-like’ fringes to frame the models’faces, coupled with understated and natural make-up.

The styling in the collection was elegant and fitted, with off-the-shoulder dresses and high-impact corseted growns and voluminous flared skirts.

“I had the most incredible time at London Fashion Week.

“It completely blew me away and the buzz backstage was amazing.

“Watching the whole look come together was a definite highlight; the clothes, the make-up, the music and the hair all looked fantastic.

“I can’t wait to get involved in more creative styling opportunities to bring the skills and looks I’ve learnt back to the salon!
