NORTH East-born film director Tony Scott has left his entire estate to his wife and sons.
The 68-year-old, who studied fine art at Sunderland Art School, now Sunderland university, last month jumped “without hesitation” from the Vincent Thomas Bridge in Long Beach, California.
The news stunned the movie world and the Top Gun director’s friends and family.
Mr Scott left a contact list of people to be informed about the tragedy in the car he abandoned before his death and notes addressed to his loved ones were found in his office.
Now court records show that the director and producer has left around £619,000 to the Tony Scott Family Trust.
Documents reveal the trust was established in 2004, naming Donna Scott and his 12-year-old twins Max and Frank as beneficiaries.
Scott’s will was filed in a probate court in LA last week and lists the value of Mr Scott’s personal property at £773,000.
His attorney R Dennis Luderer is executor of the will and his brother and business partner, Ridley Scott, with whom he ran Scott Free Productions, is the first alternate executor in the event of the lawyer’s death.
