A developer is set to reveal plans of a renewable energy centre adjacent to the Nissan plant in Washington.

A public consultation will be held by Rolton Kilbride from 2.30pm to 7.30pm, on Tuesday, at Washington Business Centre, 2, Turbine Way.

Project spokesman Ian Crummack said: “Consultation is a vital part of the planning process and it is important to us that residents and the public have the opportunity to talk to us about our proposals.

“We want to invite people to come and find out more about the technology and the proposed facility from our team of experts who will be on hand to answer any questions.
