Delays caused on A19 following smash
An accident on the A19 road has caused tailbacks for drivers.
The incident happened at 2.06pm today when a Transit van and a Vauxhall Astra collided on the southbound carriageway, between the Chester Road and Doxford Park turn-offs.
Recovery crews have been working to clear the scene and all lanes are now open.
No-one is believed to have been injured in the crash.
