Delays across Metro service due to technical fault

Delays of up to 15 minutes between South Shields and Newcastle and South Hylton and the Airport due to a technical fault.

Commuters will face the delays across the Metro service this morning due to a fault.

A spokesman for the Tyne and Wear Metro Service said: "Delays of up to 15 mins South Shields and St James, and up to 15 mins South Hylton and Airport due to a technical fault."
