Dave the Rave spotted dancing alongside Sunderland mascots Samson and Delilah

Cult Mackem character Dave the Rave has been busting a groove with SAFC mascots Samson and Delilah.

Dave, whose real name is Dave Common, features on a video on the Black Cats' Twitter account with the two mascots at The Bridges shopping centre.

The account tweeted: "Samson and Delilah get the rave on with @davidcommon1 AKA Dave The Rave!

"What do you think, @JPickford1?"

SAFC's Washington-born goalkeeper Jordan Pickford replied: "@SunderlandAFC doesn't mess about #Davetherave send it."
