DO you agree with the FA Cup semi-finals being played at Wembley?
THE RACE for a place in the FA Cup final used to be known as the road to Wembley.
Clubs up and down the country would dream of a coveted place in May’s showpiece match.
But The Football Association decided that the new Wembley Stadium should host both FA Cup semi-finals, so this weekend Manchester United take on derby rivals Man City and Bolton challenge Stoke for a place in the final.
It means tens of thousands of football supporters making their way from the North West into London, and for the two lucky clubs that reach the final, does this semi-final trip detract from the magic.
Holding the semis at Wembley may mean a healthy pay-day for the FA, but it’s costly for supporters.
