NEW CCTV footage has been released by police which could hold clues into the murder of David Wilson.
Mr Wilson, 49, was found dead in an address in Southwick Road, Southwick, on the morning of Sunday, December 14.
The following day detectives launched a murder probe and have since been appealing for witnesses to an incident which happened nearby to come forward.
Police have now released CCTV that shows a person at the cashpoint at Southwick Green at around 4.09am on the Sunday. Police want to know who the person is.
A man aged 34 remains on bail pending further inquiries after being arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police now hope by releasing this latest footage, it will encourage witnesses to come forward.
A spokesman said: “At 4.18am on December 14, police received a report from a man saying he had been mugged near to the Post Office cash machine in Southwick Green.
“CCTV footage from the area shows the mugging victim and another person at the ATM at around 4.09am.
“Officers have released new CCTV footage of this person and are appealing for him to come forward.
“In it he appears to be wearing a blue coat.
“CCTV also shows that at around 4.17am another person uses the cash machine in Southwick Green.
“Anyone who recognises the people in the CCTV, or anyone with any information, is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191 quoting reference number 583 14/12/14 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
