POLICE have issued a drug warning after 12 people were taken to hospital.
Nine men – aged between 17 and 23 – and three women – aged from 19 to 24 – were taken to hospital from a house in Newcastle.
Officers believe they had taken LSD paper tabs with a strawberry motif on them and fear the could be available across the region.
Chief Inspector Richard Jackson said: “If anyone has any of these paper tabs with the strawberry motif on them in their possession, we would urge them not to take it.
“Anyone who may have taken the drug recently and feels unwell should seek medical attention immediately.”
