Vintage motorcycle stolen in Sunderland garage raid

POLICE are appealing for information after a vintage motorbike was stolen in a burglary in Sunderland.

The burglary happened between 10am Thursday, May 1 and 9.30am on Wednesday, May 7 at an address in Oldstead Road. A garage was broken into and the motorbike stolen.

The bike is a Norton Dominator 600cc which dates back to 1950. The owner of the bike is keen for it to be returned to him.

Officers are carrying out enquiries and asking anyone who may be offered the bike for sale or has information about where it is to get in contact.
