Tools and bikes stolen in Sunderland raids

TWO pedal bikes and tools were taken in a burglary at a Sunderland outhouse.

The offender got into the building in Arundel Road, Farringdon, and escaped with a black GT men’s mountain bike, and a Raleigh ladies’ mountain bike.

The black bike has front suspension and 24-speed gears.

It also has white writing on it and a black gel seat.

The other bike is black, 18-speed, with front suspension. It has pink writing on it.

Neighbourhood Sergeant Ken Robinson, of Northumbria Police, said: “I’d appeal for anyone who witnessed this burglary or spotted anything suspicious to come forward.

“Anyone who may know of the bikes’ whereabouts should also contact police.”

The incident happened between 7.30pm on Thursday, and 9am on Saturday.
