Three more arrested and four charged after teenager stabbed in Sunderland

A TOTAL of seven people have been arrested and four charged after a 16-year-old boy was found stabbed in the neck outside a Sunderland library.

The teenager was found injured outside the Murray Library, in Chester Road, Sunderland, on Saturday night.

Mark Wright, aged 22, of Reginald Street, Pallion, in Sunderland, has been charged with wounding with intent to commit grievous bodily harm and is due to appear before Sunderland Magistrates’ Court on Monday, May 12.

Daine Bainbridge, 25, of Padonhill, in Sunderland and two girls aged 14 and 15 have been charged with affray. All three have been released on bail to appear before Sunderland Magistrates Court, on June 4.

Two boys aged 17 and 14 and a 17-year-old girl have all been arrested on suspicion of affray and bailed pending further enquiries.
