Teens arrested after 16-year-old boy was found injured in Washington park attack

TWO teenagers have been arrested after a 16-year-old boy was assaulted in a park in Washington.

A 17 year-old and 15 year-old have been arrested on suspicion of assault after the boy was attacked in Princess Anne Park on Friday night.

Police were called at about 8.30pm, following reports of a fight in the park, between Oxclose and Lambton.

Officers found the 16-year-old with an injury to his mouth and are keen to speak to a group of youths who may have been in the are at the time.
