Teen threatened with a crowbar in phone theft

A TEENAGER has had their phone stolen by a two boys armed with a crowbar.

The victim was with two other teenagers in Rutland Street near Diamond Hall Junior School, Sunderland when they were approached by two 15 year-old boys.

One of the criminals was brandishing a metal crowbar.

An iPhone4 was taken. The theft happened between 6.30pm and 6.45pm on Thursday December 4.

One of the teens is described as 5ft 10ins with short fair hair styled into a ‘V’ shape at the back and was wearing a grey hooded top with a red Converse logo and dark tracksuit trainers. He speaks with a local Wearside accent.

The second is described as 5ft 8ins with shirt fair hair and distinctive dark eyebrows and considerable facial acne. He was in possession of a crow bar. He was wearing a black hooded top with black bottoms. Both are described as slim.
