Takeaway attackers face jail

THREE men who took part in an attack in a takeaway which left a man unconscious have been warned to expect prison.

 Martin Bell, James Treweeke, and Scott McQuoid appeared at Durham Crown Court to be dealt with for the incident which took place in Godfather’s takeaway in Seaham, on August 11 last year.

 Bell, 18, of Parkside Crescent, Treweeke, 20, of Webb Avenue, and McQuoid, 19, of Grant’s Crescent, all Seaham, each admitted affray.

 Ron Mitchell, for Treweeke, said his client had failed to turn up to be interviewed for a pre-sentence report.

 The Recorder, Mr Jonathan Sandiford adjourned the case against all three defendants.

 They were all bailed to return to court to be dealt with on July 6.
