TWO Wearside men arrested after a robbery at a Tyneside casino have been told they will face no further police action.

Detectives investigating the armed raid at the Grosvenor Road casino arrested the two men in the days after the incident, on February 21.

Robbers brandishing a shotgun stole a “large amount” of cash from a security guard outside the club.

The 37-year-old and 45-year-old, from Sunderland, have now been told they have been cleared from inquiries.
