Sunderland man to stand trial after refusing breath test

A WEARSIDE man accused of refusing to give a specimen of breath to police will stand trial.

David Moon, of Sandringham Road, Sunderland, appeared at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court facing a charge of failing to provide a specimen for analysis when required by a police officer.

The 39-year-old pleaded not guilty and will be back at the court on April 19 for his trial.

Moon was granted unconditional bail until his next court appearance.
