Sunderland man charged with attacking partner and threatening her with a machete to face crown court judge

Osmond Baker, 45, of Bradford Avenue, Town End Farm, is alleged to have spat at the woman and punched her, and threatened her with a machete on Sunday, June 21, South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court heard.

A bail application by his solicitor Robin Ford was refused and Baker, who did not enter a plea, will appear at Newcastle Crown Court on July 24.
