Sunderland criminal is jailed again after flouting terms of his release

A criminal is back behind bars after he admitted flouting the terms of his release from jail.

Alexander McHugh, of Gainsborough Road, Grindon, Sunderland, was imprisoned at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court after showing “a flagrant disregard for court orders” .

McHugh, 23, admitted one count of failing to comply with supervision requirements by not keeping two telephone appointments on August 6 and August 13 or being present at a particular address during a home visit on August 19.

The court jailed him for a week.
