Series of cars damaged in string of attacks in Sunderland


A series of cars have been damaged following a string of attacks on Wearside.

Police are appealing for information after vehicles were targeted in the Hylton Castle and Downhill areas of the city on Monday, April 4.

According to Northumbria Police, five vehicles had glass stolen from their wing mirrors on Cheltenham Road.

Yesterday, meanwhile, a further seven vehicles were damaged on Ravenswood Road, where wing mirrors were kicked off or had glass stolen from the wing mirror.

Inquiries are ongoing, and police are appealing for witnesses.
