Search for woman after vacuum cleaner theft from Sunderland Sainsbury’s

POLICE have released CCTV of a woman they need to speak to after the theft of a vacuum cleaner in Sunderland.

It happened about 4pm on Tuesday, April 29, when a Dyson DC60 was stolen from Sainsbury’s at Silksworth Lane in Plains Farm.

Police investigating have released a CCTV image of a woman they need to speak to who it’s believed may be able to help with their enquiries into the theft.

Anyone who recognises her is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191, quoting reference 933 29/04/14, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The appeal comes during Northumbria Police’s Operation Soundwave, aimed at tackling opportunist thieves and burglars across the force.
