Seaham man charged with indecent assaults and flashing incidents in Sunderland

A MAN has been charged after indecent assaults and flashing incidents against women and girls in Sunderland.

Carl Todner, 27, of Elgin Avenue, Seaham, County Durham, has been charged with five counts of sexual assault, one count of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, one count of outraging public decency and four counts of exposure.

The offences are alleged to have taken place in the Sunderland and South Tyneside areas between March 9 and March 25, 2014.

He appeared at Sunderland Magistrates’ Court this morning and was remanded in custody to appear again on April 10 at Newcastle Crown Court.
